I am 26yrs old and I have been chemically straightening (perm) my hair since I was 12 years old. I have come to the conclusion that I want a more natural look like Tracee Ellis Ross from the show Girlfriends. My hair length reaches to the middle of my back, at my bra strap. I was stayed away from chemicals for 1 year and 4 months until my hair dresser persuaded me to get a texturizer. As much as I didn't want it I agreed to put it in b/c she kept telling me it would just take away the frizzy-ness. She applied it and I made her wash it out quickly. It was in my hair no longer than 5 min. Now I am her 2 1/2 months after not knowing what to do with this hair. Help, anyone know any good products that would help untangle this Maine when wet or a product that softens curls? Even better can someone tell me what Tracee Ellis Ross does to her hair, lol??? Confused!
What hair products can I use to soften and untangle my part natural/ part processed hair?
Tracee Ellis Ross's hair is all natural. You need to start all over.

what i found that works great is called AUSSIE it is in a purple bottle and I use the shampoo the conditioner the mousse and the hair spray but I'm pretty sure they have detangler too but see mt hair mats like a cocker spaniels hair
so i tried the mousse and it works GREAT and is really inexpesive it is like $3 a bottle and if that doesn't work there is this shampoo called CATWALK that works great but is more$$$$$$ It is like 20-30 bucks for the shampoo and conditioner but they both work greatr and smell great too!! You can get catwalk at almost anyhair salon and Aussie at almost any drugstore or walmart ( i got mine at the dollar general)!

Honestly, continuously treating your hair with chemicals aren't doing it any good. Also, dry and tangles are majority caused by the hair products we used, as majority of them comes with ingredients like SLS and protecting firm (a layer of silicon to make your hair feel smooth).
You can try the hair products from Elken, as they uses natural ingredients from plants. You can get it from any of the stockist located in Singapore.

In addition, because you have natural curls, separate your hair with a wide-tooth comb separator ( for curly hair ) or with your fingers. You may also brush your hair with a good wooden hair brush.
Last but not least, apply hair moisturisers ( made from natural ingredients, you can get them from Body Shop ) on your hair ends regularly ( wet/dry is fine ).
Give yourself time to improve your texture first. Beauty isn't instant my dear. You can't rely on just products to camouflage. Believe me once your hair texture has improve, you'll see beautiful shiny soft curls.
Hope the above info. helps...And good luck! ^ ^
