At home hair dye?

i have black/brown hair, i want a few purple streaks, i dont want to go to the salon, i dont want to damage my hair,

will it show since i have black hair???

At home hair dye?

I have dark hair too and the only way I get any color I have to use color that says for Dark hair only anything else your wasting your money

At home hair dye?

at home dyes on dark hair is a 50-50 chance. it might or might not turn out good

At home hair dye?

yes it will!

At home hair dye?

of course! hair dye always over powers your natural hair color, except if you have black hair and ur going blonde XD

At home hair dye?

it might show for maybe a day or two but then it will fade quickly. my friend and i tried hot pink just for fun, and it went away very fast! but i have a friend who got it done at the salon and it looked great, and lasted!

At home hair dye?

probably but if you get stuff to bleach streaks before you die them i think it will work

At home hair dye?

you need to get good hair die or it may not work

At home hair dye?

yeah it will show. if you want like a natural dye then use henna, its almost permenent but it comes in a lot of different colors. and it will show up. and if you dont like it then read the intructions for the removal.

Depend on how bright you want them. You'll probably have to bleach out the streaks and then place the purple hair dye on them, this will make them bright and more noticeable. If you place it on your black hair, it will be harder to see (if at all), but will show up in the light.

At home hair dye?

no. it wont damage. yes. it'll show.

At home hair dye?

I think you should just go to the salon just to make sure that you don't make a mistake.

You'll have to bleach it first or it won't stick. Go to a beauty supply store like Sally and buy a bleaching kit, like Manic Panic Flash Lightning and a Manic Panic color (I've used Ultra Violet, it's a nice bright purple) and if you follow the instructions carefully it should turn out well.

It also depends on hair-type too.
