i need a good hair do for my graduation, a lot of girls in my class are going to get their hair done by professional stylists, but im only in the 8th grade and i think that is unessessary for a little graduation like this. however, i dont want to look like a slob either. are their sites that give me good hair do's, and show me how to do them? also if you have any, please suggest them with directions. please and thank you!

All the above ideas are great. Another way is to put your hair into a ponytail, high on your head. Separate the ponytail into 1" sections, twist around your finger, then pin the twisted hair down with a bobby pin. Pin them close to the ponytail holder; that will help conceal it. Each twist may need 2 pins, but if some of the ends stick up, leave them- it's cute. Sprinkle in some gold or silver craft glitter, or add a flower or a pretty ribbon. Spray it really well so it'll hold through the evening. With your bangs, either leave them out of the up do and flatten them, or twist them back with a pin--Good luck!

curl your hair by wraping it around the curline iron and then take half of your hair and pin it up wiht boby pins in the back middle of your head its and easy one and its simple and you dont need a stylist!

i think up-dos are way over used. i would curl it, put it half up, and put a flower in it that matches it. flowers always do the trick. even if you mess up your hair completely, a flower can make it look pretty.

Put up almost all of your hair but leave down a THICK chunck of bangs %26amp; even some hair... like 4 inches back...

put the back in like a bun

then you separate the down strands and twist them seperately and pin each one up where your hair band is. it looks formal but is super easy.

all you really need is a hair band, and bobby pins...

a recently popular hairstyle is the side ponytail. You can pull back the top in a sleek side part fashion, secure on side/back with band. Then curl the pony tail a bit, scrunch it up and you are ready to do. Plus it wont get in the way when you put your graduation hat on. :)

Get some fake or fresh flowers and stick them in your hair after you twist it up loosely. (you can hide the clip this way)

Or make a bun a spray some glitter.

Or buy a pretty clip and show it off.

Don't worry about washing the hair- it is easier to work with hair that is NOT just washed....it has more "texture".

I think you should probably curl bits and pieces of your hair. If you have long hair though and if you have short hair....put it up with the whole twistie bun kind of thing.
