A video game trivia show that aired in the early 90s.?

The show had people square off at video game trivia. At the end of the show the winner would get to run through a shopping spree type of course and grab just about anything video game related. The host of the show was a younger gentleman with brown hair. Before this show he hosted a video game variety show. It had a cartoon with characters from games (Bigfoot, NARC, some Conan the barbarian type of guy). He also did interviews, game previews, reviews and cheats.

sorry man the only video games programme i can remember back then was "games master" where you competed against each other in the newest console games. mosty beat 'em' ups. that brings back memories. can you believe the original sinic the hedgehog was 鎷?9.99 when it forst came out. thats nearly $100
