I have bought a "Warm Red" wash-in wash-out hair dye by "Shaders and Toners". It says on the back that it is for light brown hair. Would it show up in my hair if it is dark brown-nearly black?

my hair is brown and i did the same just last year it made my hair a golden color ok dark golden color with a tint of red so when i was in the sun the red really came out inside the House its was a golden color very pretty i think if your wanting to go all red get some sun dye its a spray that you put on and it works in the sun it lightens your hair a bit then you can dye it the red and it will pop out better. But just try this one first and see if you like it plus it washes out. lol

The most a wash in color will do is probably tint your hair, so it will probably turn a dark brownish red, it could still look pretty though. =]

if it does take at all on ur hair it will be a burgandy shade of red.
