if u want to make ur hair permanent, use bleach first and then dye it, if its fake crap, i suggest leaving it in for at least 3 hours, seriously, the box says 20 mins ish, but it stays in nicer if u wait longer. :)

YES it works on dark hair (depending on what colour you want, it may be done over more than 1 session)
YES it shows probably more when it is dry
A dye from the supermarket will take around 40mins
A hairdresser could take up to 2 hours depending on length of hair %26amp; chosen shade of colour...
