I had a spinal fusion done about 2 years ago and I still have cronic,

lower back pain. I have two rods and 4 screws in the fused area. That is where the fracture is located.

They may have you limit your activity for a short period of time to allow these areas to heal. It is also possible that the hardware they used for the fusion is causing the hairline fractures. Have you been referred to physical therapy. A Physical Therapist will help you to improve your abdominal strength and practice good body mechanics to limit the stress on your back which in turn will help to decrease your pain.

The bones should be healing themselves, if not, you need to see a Dr. maybe a different one.
