Hair curling tips?

I need to curl my hair for a show that I am in, and i don't want to get a perm because I'm donating my hair after the show

Hair curling tips?

You don't have to perm your hair. To get your curls to hold use a setting spray the best one I have found is called Hot Sets it is made by Redken. Just simply spray on small pieces of hair before curling and your curls will hold all day.

Get your hair wet over night braid it and in the morning take off the braid and it will be curly.=}

Start off by dampening your hair. Use a comb to separate your hair into 1 inch thick pieces you might need help with this. Take 1 inch thick strand of hair and plait it tightly. Secure with a small hair band. You should do one side of your head, you might want someone to help you with the back or the other side. Once all the plaits are done, let them dry. This will take longer if you have thicker hair, as you will have had to do more plaits! Once your hair is dry, take out all the hair bands! Don't use a brush to separate your hair, get someone to help you take out each plait with your fingers. Slowly comb through each curl with your fingers so that they become bouncy and adorable! Put on hair spray (a good one is Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray) or mousse to keep the curls intact, you can use shine spray if you want!!
