If shampoos nourish hair by reaching roots(as shown in ads) why mfg advise to rinse well after use?

Normally in advertisemnts shown on TV, its presented with nice graphics - how shampoo reaches to the hair root and how vitamins and other things are beneficial to hair.If its really so - why just not let it be there for long time - why to rinse?

Seems - if somebody really wish to nourish hair then hair oils are better :)

Normally the TV shows you not the right suggestion it just entertain you ,Use conditioner for your hair if there is excess of shampoo left wash at least 2-3 times your hair with Luke warm water Also let the shampoo to effect your hair also i suggest you to use Herbal shampoo for your hair

FOR GOOD RESULTS USE HAIR OIL BEFORE SHAMPOO.

Shampoos itself not good for your hair as well as head. use anything natural or leave it as it is

~Anything you put on your hair changes it. They'll say anything to sell the product. Shampoo is like soap, but for hair, you don't leave it in/on. Conditioner is good for your hair, they have oils in them. You can rinse most of it out and leave some in. I recommend top of the line products that you buy in the salon.

Someone there can examine your hair and tell you what would work best for you and answer your question in more detail.~

Good question but if you dont rinse well all the residue will stay on your scalp and your hair wont look washed or feel washed. It wil make flakes like dandruff. The shampoo fortifies your hair probably but I agree hair oils are better.

Sometimes what is written on the shampoo bottles and in the adds is a bit exatruated.

Well if you leave shampoo in your hair it is going to dry. Therefore you are going to get all these white flakes and I don't mean dandruff. The dried shampoo will set onto your skulp and every time you brush your hair or try to style it that layer that the shampoo made will start lifting, bit by bit . That's why you will notice the white flakes that I am talking about.

.......................... And seeing flakes in someones hair is just YUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!1

They advirtse the same about some soaps too. That doesn't mean that you walk around with a unwashed soapy face and body. we need to wash off oil too. Shampoo just helps to wash off he dirt. Just use it as how much you need to keep your hair clean and don't use it for the nourishing purpose.

conditioner is a chemical and if you leave it there then your hair feels greasy and is all seperated, if you get what i mean. basically it looks dirty. You can get leave in spray conditioners though, I use one all the time and it works really well because the spray disperses it so there is a heavy amout in one place.

from what my stylist says there are shampoos out there that just put a shiny coat on the hair follicle and doesn't really clean. now there are shampoos out there that does better cleansing and what not. but you always want to rinse well after shampooing and conditioning. if you leave excess still in your hair it can tend to be greasy and be really bad for your scalp. it can cause you to scratch your head constantly and it can also cause a chemical buildup on your scalp that will lead to dandruff.
