You go out and buy green coloring food--and you put a modest amount in a bowl and add a little tiny bit of water and then mix it really well...to apply it to your hair is a bit more tricky 'cos it will stain go without your shirt or wear something you don't care about; use rubber gloves and scoup out some of the mixture and spread it over your hair, making sure you apply it evenly; then comb it through your hair and wait for it to dry or use a hair dryer. It won't be as dark as when it was wet, but it should look great.

Or if you are a blonde, go swimming in chlorinated water a lot and don't wash your hair...chorline is known to turn blonde hair green.
